No Shock Cradle Dump Cylinders

This cylinder was designed specifically for the cradle dump operation in a poultry processing plant, and is one of our two systems that will remove all shock from the coop dump procedure. Please ask about our No Shock cradle dump valve system. This 2.50” bore hydraulic cylinder with a 1.75” rod will outlast any other cylinder you have ever installed in this position, due to the extended length cushions in this cylinder that set it apart from all other dumper cylinder designs. A pair of these cylinders will give you 9,816 pounds of lifting force at the normal 1,000 psi operating pressure. The 1.75” rod has almost twice the area of a standard 1.25” rod diameter, able to resist bending in the most severe applications. In addition to the benefits you gain by greatly reducing the shock that normal cylinders will allow at each end of the cylinder stroke, this cylinder design will also allow you to completely change out all of the mounting hardware in just minutes, with only wrenches. You do not need to cut or weld anything after the initial installation of these cylinders. Even the mounting bolts and lock washers were selected just for this application, with high strength, a special two piece lock washer design, and a custom coating for washdown service. All of the special mounting hardware is supplied with these cylinders as shown in the photo below. Please remember that our cylinders will not improve a cradle dump that has an insufficient dumping angle to operate effectively and get the birds out of the coops.
